Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Rosely, operated by Kalua Ventures LLC (“Rosely,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Rosely mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — such as your name and email address when you create an account.
- Onboarding and quiz responses — the answers you give to attachment-style questions and details you choose to share about your relationship (for example, a partner's name and attachment style, or notes you type in).
- Content you enter and receive — the messages and text you paste or type into Translate, Decode, Chat, and Pulse, and the responses Rosely generates for you. This content is sent to our AI provider to generate a response, and we also store it, associated with your account, to operate the Service and to analyze and improve how it works (for example, to understand how people use features and make them better). This includes any screenshots you attach to Translate, which we store to review and improve those results. We do not sell this content or use it to identify you publicly.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — app interactions, feature usage, app version, device model, operating system, and similar diagnostic information.
- Purchase data — subscription status and transaction identifiers associated with your purchases (handled through Apple and our subscription provider; we do not receive your full payment card details).
2. How we use information
- Provide, personalize, and improve the Service, including tailoring insights to your attachment style and your partner's.
- Create and manage your account and subscription.
- Process purchases, free trials, and renewals.
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
- Measure advertising performance and attribute app installs.
- Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Service providers we use
We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service. These providers process information on our behalf and are bound to protect it:
- Google Firebase — account authentication, data storage, app functions, and analytics.
- Anthropic — AI processing that generates the app's translations, decodes, insights, and coaching responses.
- RevenueCat — to manage subscriptions and entitlements.
- Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement and install attribution.
- Apple and Google — sign-in and (for Apple) App Store payment processing and app delivery.
Each provider maintains its own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review.
4. AI-powered features
When you use Translate, Decode, Insights, Chat, or Pulse, the text you enter is sent to our third-party AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), to generate a response. We store the text you enter and the responses Rosely returns, associated with your account, so we can operate the Service and analyze and improve how it works. We do not sell your content, and it is not used to train third-party models. You can request deletion of your stored content by deleting your account or contacting us. Please avoid entering information you would not want stored or processed by an AI service.
5. Advertising and analytics
We use Meta (Facebook) tools to measure advertising performance and attribute app installs. This may involve sharing device identifiers for advertising and tracking purposes across apps and websites owned by other companies. On first launch we request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; you can decline, or later opt out under iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. We also use Google Firebase Analytics to understand in-app usage.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With the service providers listed above, to operate the Service;
- With Meta (Facebook), as described in “Advertising and analytics,” for ad measurement and attribution;
- To comply with the law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of users or others;
- In connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.
7. Publishing your Attachment Profile
Your Attachment Profile and its written report are private by default. Nothing about them is public unless you choose to publish, and publishing is never automatic.
If you tap Publish and share, we create a page at rosely.love/report/<id> that anyone with the link can read, without signing in. The link contains a long random identifier, so it is not guessable, but it is not secret either: anyone you send it to can forward it, and anyone who receives it can read the page.
The published page contains only what the sheet shows you before you publish:
- Your profile name, its one-line tagline, and your anxiety and avoidance scores;
- Your signature facets and where you land on the quadrant;
- The opening section of your written report, and — only if you turn on Share the full report — its remaining sections;
- Your first name, only if you turn on Show my first name. Note that the report's own text may still mention your first name, because it was written to you.
Nothing else from your account is published. Your quiz answers, partner details, check-ins, chats, translations, and decodes are never part of a published page.
We ask search engines not to index these pages. We cannot control whether someone you share the link with copies, screenshots, or reposts its contents.
You can take a published page down at any time with Unpublish, in the same share sheet. Unpublishing removes the page and its link-preview image. Deleting your account also removes any published page automatically. Copies already saved or cached by other people or services may persist outside our control.
8. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see “Your choices and rights”).
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
- Delete your account — you can delete your account and associated data at any time in the app under Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing contact@kalua.io with the subject “Delete my Rosely account” (see Data deletion below).
- Access your data — you may request a copy of your data by emailing contact@kalua.io.
- Manage your subscription — through your Apple ID settings on your device.
- Tracking — decline or revoke ad tracking via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt or iOS Settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We honor applicable rights and will respond to verified requests.
11. Data deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, in either of two ways:
- In the app — go to Settings → Delete Account and confirm. Your data is removed right away.
- By email — email contact@kalua.io from the address on your account, with the subject line “Delete my Rosely account.” We complete email requests within 30 days.
Deleting your account removes your account information, quiz and onboarding responses, partner details and notes, and the content you saved in the app. We may retain limited information where the law requires it or briefly within secure backups.
Canceling your subscription is separate. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Because Apple bills subscriptions, you must cancel yours through your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Rosely → Cancel Subscription), or Apple will continue to charge you.
For step-by-step instructions, see our Data Deletion page.
12. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 17, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. International users
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of information to those countries, which may have different data-protection rules than where you live.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the app.
15. Contact us
If you have questions about this Policy or your data, email us at contact@kalua.io.
